1. It's a registry problem. If you receive this type of error below : Quote:
Failed to start the game, cannot find essential information in the registry.
Open the game folder and double clicke "AssassinsCreed_Game" and it will work. I then create a short cut.

Simply linking to the game instead of the launcher (which finds updates) seems to fix the registry problem.
To update them or check for updates go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Sounds, Video and Game Controllers > Right Click On Correct One Then Update Driver.
